ACSA/CCSA Launches Atlantic Info Tour

The first CCSA national tour to demand government action against contraband tobacco was launched on Monday, May 10 in Quebec City. Following similar tours in Ontario, this program is now extending into Atlantic Canada.

Commencing May 25, 2010 press conferences will be held in a convenience store in a number of major locations. Retailers are calling upon their Members of Parliament (MPs) to take the pledge of reducing contraband tobacco to a 10% level in their ridings by the end of 2010 through a series of community-based initiatives, hence our campaign theme: 10% • 2010 CONTRABAND OBJECTIVE.
